  • Maul: Lockdown

    Maul: Lockdown

The audiobook is REALLY well produced. This is a great story, I think Maul is one of my favorite Star Wars characters, especially post-Phantom Menace.

  • Way of the Warrior Kid

    Way of the Warrior Kid

Pretty good, better than expected. Love that this kid writes his own code.

  • The Princess and the Scoundrel

    The Princess and the Scoundrel

This was a great book: Leia and Han’s wedding, what happens on their honeymoon, and their inner monologues about each other. Well narrated too!

  • 5-Minute Sketching — Landscapes

    5-Minute Sketching — Landscapes

Very helpful examples and notes on what to look for.

  • Alphabet Squadron

    Alphabet Squadron

Fun story about an ex-imperial joining and redeeming themselves learning to work together to get weaken and finish the Empire.

  • Mastering Sketching: A Complete Course in 40 Lessons

Mastering Sketching: A Complete Course in 40 Lessons

This book was ok, the examples were nice. I think that I would have liked it more just starting out.

  • Battlefront: Twilight Company

    Battlefront: Twilight Company

Good story of the folks on the ground during the Galactic Civil War, gritty and honest.

  • Star Wars: Tears of the Nameless

Star Wars: Tears of the Nameless

Another good YA High Republic, deals with the link between the Nameless and the blight. I initially didn’t but have grown to like the Reath and Amadeo characters.

  • The Dark Forest

    The Dark Forest

Wow, this one was better than the first. I don’t think I’llever forget (spoiler alert!) the destruction of the space force by the droplet… Wow, hubris!

  • Sketching People: An Urban Sketcher’s Manual to Drawing Figures and Faces

Sketching People: An Urban Sketcher’s Manual to Drawing Figures and Faces

This book was great the pointers on drawing features, faces, ears, eyes, etc., to drawing in the wild, how to be careful and conscious when drawing “in the wild”.
