The Quick and the Dead
This is probably the fourth book of Pavel’s that I’ve gone through. I immediately implemented it into my training routine. So far, so good.

Antifragile: Things That Gain from Disorder
Super dense, very clever, and very thought provoking. I think this will eventually be a book I will buy. One quote that stuck with me, “Not everything that everyone knows is worth knowing.”

The Coddling of the American Mind
Great book, I have a lot to think about, and this read me to quickly check out Antifragile. There are a couple quotes from Marcus Aurilius and Van Jones that stood out to me, especially, “Be the fire that welcomes the wind.”

Path of Vengeance
Great book, I really like seeing the path (no pun intended) of Marta Ro, I’d like to know more, how share and Mari San Tekka paired up, etc… Gotta research

Canto Bight
This was a lot of fun. I love “side stories” in Star Wars, and the storylines and voice acting were on point here.

·
Star Wars: Lords of the Sith
This book was interesting. Interesting to see the relationship between Palpatine and Vader, as well as to get more of Cham Syndulla’s backstory.

·
Phasma (Star Wars): Journey to Star Wars: The Last Jedi
This was pretty good, though there was a lot less from Phasma’s perspective, mostly told through Vi Moradi’s perspective (and torture). I immediately wanted to read more, “Black Spire” makes a lot more sense now.

Star Wars: Cataclysm
This was a great read, half the book is the Night of Sorrow, very good writing for the battle.

·
The Devil in the White City
Wow, this was quite the experience! Larson does a great and meticulous job going back and forth between the architect and the serial killer… Really a very good book, finished listening to it in less than 3 days!

Empire’s End: Aftermath: Star Wars
This was a good end to this series. The characters are really good, and the story and idea of “cleanup” on the fallen empire and the roots of the First Order is great to read about.
