This book was good for pointing out technique, but not that great in developing it.

I’m just learning sketching and watercolor and this book has been extremely helpful with color theory and practice. There are QR codes throughout to videos of the lessons and theory. Really great!

The chapter on failure was excellent! Slow start, but that’s probably because I (thankfully) have no art demons yelling at me that I suck.
