Great book and memoir. Loved the candor. Made me think a lot about my dad’s death and how I’ve changed since then.

Pretty good, very compelling, focused on pronunciation first, spaced repetition, and focusing on what’s interesting.

Part manual, part reflective memoir, a good book to go through and think about how to have people over, how to be a good guest, and what the whole point is (see “The Long Game” chapter)

Discipline = freedom. Marc makes an uneasy friend, learns to share, give, and think about more people than himself.
